EVIL VERSUS BENIGN RECURSIVE MUSIC: I consider myself an American. I am a musican. However Mike Oldfield has created a serious and maybe dangerous challenge here. This music is recursive – Yet the changes in pitch, bass notes, and, chord changes is hypnotic for most of the this music.on purpose and for the wrong reason. It is no secret how to create hypnotic music. It can be dangerous as it is in this film and film score. Some music like Santeria in Latin America, and Popular Lain music – especially Salsa is benign. Listen to the Son Montuno from Puerto Rico, New York City, South Florida. I suggest Fania Records. The repeated sections should demonstrate that this practice of recursive mode is not new. African-Latin music at its best is also hynotico. However for me it is life giving!!!. This music attached to this film is not life giving. For Christians or those who read the word of Christ – I say that you should reject this film that has frightened so many people.
I LOVED ITS OF TE OTHER TIME IN THE SPACE
This iconic tune's all spooky as we know it for the 1st 4 minutes, but then for the last 2 minutes, it suddenly becomes all calm and serene, almost romantic.
because of this i shit my pants..
I watched this shit when i was nine years old, alone,in a dark room at night … you can imagine the consequences….
