hey, thanks for your video, my oboe seems to be different to yours, my bell seems to be very stiff and I can't get my lower shaft onto it. I've tried the gentle twisting motion you described so as to not damage my instrument but I don't want to put my reed in and mess it up. help me please?
great video. Thank you for posting
where to buy it? Please tell me
What's that little middle piece for?
The double Reed is like a single Reed connected to a Cork
iv been playing the oboe for 2 years
Ii
are you a professional oboe player?, I don't know any oboe players who buy their reeds, why don't you make them yourself?
I'm a new Oboe player, and I'm having trouble playing D/Db. I can play C and use the trill key for it (I've just been pressing that to play Db) and I can play Eb but just not the two in between. My band director says that it's operator error but he also says he doesn't really know how to play the oboe. I feel like since I'm playing on a school instrument and it's only one not it may be a problem with the instrument but he won't have the music shop take a look at it. Someone help me please! Thanks!
Why do you soak the reed…?
That looks like the oboe I got from China…that I broke a while ago
Thank you for this video. It really helped me. But can you tell me where you bought your oboe?
I have that same oboe
